Fit and length
An 8 inch knit (Sportsman SP08, Yupoong Classics Short Beanie) sits close to the head without a cuff, the look many outdoor and work crews prefer. A 12 inch knit (Sportsman SP12) is long enough to fold. The Unisex INSTINCTIVE Knit Toque and the Wolverine Knit Work Beanie are plain, durable knits for work crews. Slouchy styles like the Noto Slouchy Beanie leave extra length at the back for a relaxed fit.
Ways to put your logo on
Embroidery is the most common choice and lasts as long as the hat. The Beanie comes in 6 color, unlimited color and 6 color puff embroidery versions, where puff gives a raised 3D logo. Jacquard knitted beanies have your logo knitted in up to 3 colors, and leather-patch styles like the Haberdasher take a debossed or engraved logo.
Specialty beanies
The LED Beanie has a removable front light panel with 4 white LEDs and 3 brightness levels, useful for runners, dog walkers and night shifts. The Vox Beanie has wireless earphones built in with about 3 to 3.5 hours of playback per charge.
Good to know before you order
Most acrylic knits are hand-wash only, and the LED panel has to come out before washing. The Vox Beanie contains a battery: it cannot ship internationally except to Canada by ground, and goes to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico by air only.
